Snow falling,
Gracefully caressing the ground.
All turns white,
With a gluttonous portion of flaky goodness.
Driveways wonder,
Where is its end?
The Sun forgets to warm.
This hemisphere glistens and sparkles,
A marvelous view from above.
The cold, bitter and unforgiving;
Searches for victims in the dark.
A lonely light in the distance,
Longing for another to shine through.
A desolate wasteland;
Finding no green vegetation,
Herbivores hide well;
The Bear goes to sleep.
Why can't we?
